On May 12, 2025, the 17th National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day series of activities was successfully held in Jinshan District, Shanghai. The Haijiang Group rescue team, as a benchmark force in social rescue, was invited to participate in the activities. In the afternoon of that day, the leaders of Jinshan District Emergency Management Bureau, together with the leaders of Changsha Emergency Bureau, visited and exchanged ideas at the Shanghai Emergency Rescue Base of Haijiang Group.
Jinshan District's "5.12" National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day Activity
May 12, 2025 is the 17th National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day. According to the "Notice of the Office of the Shanghai Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Committee on Doing a Good Job in the Work Related to the 2025 National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day", on the morning of the 12th, the National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day event was held at the Huahua Marine Ecological Park in Zhujing Town, Jinshan District, sponsored by the Office of the Jinshan District Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Committee, organized by the Jinshan District Emergency Management Bureau and the People's Government of Zhujing Town, Jinshan District, and supported by the Jinshan District Federation of Trade Unions and Jinshan District Fire Rescue Bureau. The event, with the theme of "Everyone talks about safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergencies - identifying hidden dangers of disasters around us", was attended by 105 people including the Municipal Emergency Bureau, relevant functional departments of the district, responsible persons of various streets and towns, and representatives of citizens.
Sheng Wei, Director of the Emergency Management Bureau of Jinshan District, delivered a speech emphasizing that disaster prevention and reduction work requires the participation of the whole nation and continuous efforts. Thirteen safety service volunteers were awarded appointment letters on site.
Activity setting emergency safety skills practical demonstration segment, on-site demonstration of hazardous chemical accident disposal and rapid rescue technology. Under the leadership of Gao Qiying, Secretary of the Haijiang Group Party Branch, the rescue team of Haijiang Group demonstrated the group's intelligent rescue equipment on site. At the end of the event, the Jinshan District Disaster Prevention and Reduction Promotion Week was officially launched, which will further promote the awareness of disaster prevention among the public.
Leaders from Changsha Emergency Bureau visited and toured
In the afternoon of that day, a delegation of leaders from the Changsha Emergency Management Bureau visited and exchanged ideas at the Shanghai Emergency Rescue Base of Haijiang Group, including Liu Yao, Chief Engineer of the Changsha Emergency Management Bureau, Xiang Jianzhou, Leader of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group stationed at the bureau, Xiao Yunfeng, First level Supervisor of the Changsha Fire Rescue Detachment, Zeng Hongtao, Fourth level Researcher of the Changsha Emergency Management Bureau Command Center, Chen Cheng, Director of the Flood Control Department of the Changsha Emergency Management Bureau, and Huang Jinming, Deputy Director of the Science and Information Department of the Changsha Emergency Management Bureau. Qi Jianjun, Deputy Director of the Emergency Management Bureau in Jinshan District, and other leaders guided the visit.
As a key government enterprise cooperation project supported by Shanghai and Jinshan districts, the Shanghai Emergency Rescue Base of Haijiang Group is a professional rescue platform established under the guidance of emergency management departments and district governments at both levels in Shanghai and Jinshan districts to serve the green environmental transformation and safe development of the petrochemical industry in Jinshan districts. Relying on intelligent rescue equipment, multi scenario simulation training systems, and a "combination of peacetime and wartime" response mechanism, it focuses on emergency response to hazardous chemical accidents, environmental pollution, and natural disasters, and is committed to creating an emergency rescue demonstration benchmark of "government enterprise cooperation and complementary advantages".
Gao Qiying, Secretary of the Party General Branch of Haijiang Group, gave a detailed introduction to the "technology+practical" dual wheel drive mode of the base. At the 5G global remote control command center of the base, technical personnel demonstrated cutting-edge technologies such as unmanned aerial vehicle reconnaissance and robot bomb disposal on site. Qi Jianjun, Deputy Director of the Emergency Management Bureau of Jinshan District, pointed out that the operation of the base marks a crucial step towards professionalization and intelligence of the regional emergency rescue system, providing a "golden mountain model" for risk prevention and control in mega cities. The leaders of Changsha Emergency Management Bureau stated that the standardized construction and collaborative mechanism of the base have great reference significance, and they look forward to using this inspection as an opportunity to promote the sharing of emergency resources and technology between the two places, and jointly build a cross regional security defense line.
Upgrading the security coordination in the Yangtze River Delta region
